This is not a Firewall and this is not a anti-virus,malware,spyware software. Geswall does what they can't do!

Geswall is a wall of protection between you and the world online. Sound like what a firewall does. But it does much more than a Firewall does. Geswall runs all applications in an isolated enviorment. Clean Up Disk Errors With Windows Check Disk Utility

Run this twice 3-4 times a month.

Whenever a program crashes, you experience some power outage or you improperly shut down your computer, your computer may
create errors on your computer's hard disk. Over time these errors will slow your computer.

Windows operating systems includes a Disk Check utility program to check and clean any errors on your computer and keep it
running in top form.

To run a Disk Check:

1.In your Start menu, click on My Computer.

2.In the My Computer box, right-click on the drive you wish to check for errors (for most of us this will be the C: drive, unless you have more than one drive on your computer), and then click Properties.

3.In the Properties box, click the Tools tab. In the Error-Checking section, press the Check Now button.

A Check Disk dialog box displays.


4.In the Check Disk box. Check all the check boxes. Then Click Start.

5.You will see a message box that says you can schedule the disk check to start the next time you restart your computer.

Click Yes.

The next time you restart your computer, it will automatically run through a disk check before displaying your
login screen.

After the disk check finishes, Windows will automatically bring you to your login screen.

Note: Check Disk can take between an hour to several hours depending on the size of your hard drive and ammount of errors
on the drive.

Check and clean errors on your computer 3-4 times a month.

Defrag Your Hard Drive.

Defraging your hard drive will help increase your computer performance.

As you install and delete programs, save and delete photo's, video's, music, and data to your hard drive it eventually becomes so fragmented that your system slows down due to the extra time it takes finding all the relevant program files on your hard drive that you want to run

What does defrag mean? defragmentation is the process of locating the noncontagious fragments of data into which a computer file may be divided as it is stored on a hard disk, and rearranging the fragments and restoring them into fewer fragments or into the whole file. Defragmentation reduces data access time and allows storage to be used more efficiently.



To explain it more simply. Inside your hard drive case is a circular disk. All the files you have on your computer is saved to this disk. But the locations these files are saved to on the disk is randomly picked. As in (fig 1), The circle represents the hard drive disk. The red dots represents a program saved to the hard drive with about 17 files, each red dot is one of those files. The green dots represent a smaller program with 3 files.

Notice even though all the files (red dots and green dots) each belong to one program their spread out all over the disk. This is not a error or problem, it is actually the way it is suppose to work. When you save anything to the hard drive your computer system saves them to anywhere on the hard drive and it maps out the location of each file and knows what program it belongs to.

Basically put, the problem is that the system has to locate all these files to a program when you tell your computer you want to run that program. Today's programs can consist of 1,000's and 1,000's of files. This takes some time and can be one of the causes of your computer running slower.





When you defrag your disk drive. What this does is finds all the files to each program or data group and place them all next to each other in one location. As (fig 2) shows you, now all of the red dots representing that program is all next to each other , this allows your computer to find and load those files quicker.

You just need to configure this once


Microsoft company works diligently to release updates to Windows and
other Microsoft software products, i.e: Windows operating systems (9x,
ME, XP, Vista, 7), Office, etc.


At Microsoft Update, you can find and install all these updates, not
just the critical ones. Often than not, these updates will improve your
computer's performance and close vulnerbilities hackers can use to
infect your computer with damaging programs such as trojans, bots,
malware to name a few.

How to optimize your computer start with taking certain steps that will increase your PC perfprmance. In this post I will explain how to stop TSR's and startup programs from botting when you first turn on your computer.

When your computer is running slow the first thing to check is to see how many TSR's or startup programs, (programs that start up and load when you first turn on your computer), are running in the background. Each TSR uses some of your memory (RAM).

If you have a lot of TSR's/startup programs running they can use up so much of your memory that there is not enough left to efficiently run all of the other programs and your operating system. When a certain amount of your memory is in use the computer starts accessing your hard drive directly for the files it needs to run the programs. This process is call virtual memory.

When your system starts using virtual memory what it does is looks at your RAM memory and looks for the least used programs running in the RAM memory and makes a space on your hard drive then copies that program as paging files to your hard drive. From then on it accesses that program from your hard drive. Reading and writing from your hard drive is incredibly slow compared to reading and writing from RAM and uses up your cpu more often to transfer and executed the files.
